Qualified in Dental Surgery at the Royal Dental Hospital, London with distinctions in 1968. He gained his Fellowship in 1976 and obtained his postgraduate training in London and Newcastle, where he gained his Master of Dental Surgery and Master of Science Degrees. In 1980 he was appointed Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and established the Department of Dental Services as first Head of Department at the University of Sheffield, then Director of Dental Services in Salisbury for 12 years. Chris has given numerous postgraduate training courses for other dentists both in the UK & abroad, and is in demand as a lecturer and expert witness. He has over 70 publications in the literature. He is a member of the Association of Consultants in Restorative Dentistry, British Society for Restorative Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the association of Dental Implantology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He has lived near Cirencester for 6 years. His particular interests are cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular joint and bite problems, implants and oral rehabilitation using crowns and bridges. |
